Thank you for your interest and support of our products!  Since the release of our new rechargeable DLP-link glasses, the customer response has been incredibly positive!  However, we have confirmed that these glasses have a consistent compatibility problem with two types of projectors- Optoma and Vivitek.  The main issues customers seem to be experiencing are with the HD33 (Optoma) and the D512-3D (Vivitek).  Tests have confirmed that the glasses work flawlessly with Vivitek projectors in 2D-3D conversion mode and also work great when the 3D source is hooked to the VGA connector.  However, the glasses have trouble syncing when the source is connected through the HDMI connection.  Vivitek has confirmed that this is due to the refresh rate which is set at 96Hz in this mode.  This is consistent with 24p 3D Blu ray discs (the projector essentially doubles the refresh rate for each eye).  Our glasses are not currently able to support a 96Hz refresh rate.

The other issue is with the Optoma projectors.  It seems to be mainly isolated to the HD33.  Our glasses seem to be hit or miss with this projector.  Some work flawlessly, while others work only intermittently.  The bad news is that because of this issue, the further production of these glasses has been delayed.  The good news is that we have pinpointed and corrected the problem.  We are currently running tests and plan to have this issue resolved within a week or two.  At that time, these glasses will be available again and will work flawlessly with both of these projectors.

TrueDepth TrueDepth 3D shutter glasses provide a high quality low cause alternative to the expensive Samsung glasses ($150 per pair!) These glasses are fully compatible with Samsung 2010 LED, Plasma or LCD 3D TVs and will also work with Mitsubishi 3D TVs (Mitsubishi transmitter or 3DC-1000 is required) These glasses feature a larger viewing area and a clearer image than the Samsung version.
